The American Advertising Awards Competition is the advertising industry’s largest and most prestigious competition, attracting over 40,000 entries in local American Advertising Federation (AAF) club competitions. Our local AAF club, known as AAF Oklahoma, hosts the first of a three-tier, national competition that honors the outstanding contributions of advertising practitioners.

Winners move on to the district level, then the national level for the opportunity to elevate your agency as one of the best in the nation.

AAF Oklahoma’s tradition of service to the advertising industry and to the community continues as its members endeavor to reach new heights through education, advocacy, and professional opportunities. Averaging more than a thousand entries and representing dozens of agencies from the OKC, Tulsa, and Wichita Falls, TX area, the American Advertising Awards competition has achieved status as a “must-attend” industry event.

We invite all professionals and students in Oklahoma and Wichita Falls, TX to participate in the 2025-2026 American Advertising Awards.

The deadline to submit entries is Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.!

Judging for all Professional Entries will be conducted in-person but all professional entries still only need to be sent virtually. No physical drop-offs will be accepted for Professional Entries.

All entries submitted AFTER January 9^th will incur a $10 late fee per entry.

Gold winners will automatically move on to the AAF District competition and AAF Oklahoma covers the entry fee. Silver winners may choose to enter the District competition if the entrant pays the district entry fee by 12:00 p.m. on March 10, 2026.

AAF Oklahoma covers the cost to forward all student Gold-winning entries to the district competition. Students may advance their Silver winning entries to the District competition for an entry fee payable by the student by 7 p.m. CT on March 10, 2026.

This year, AAF Oklahoma is unveiling something truly extraordinary in honor of our 60th Anniversary “Diamond Soirée.”

We are proud to present “Best of the Best,” an anniversary celebration and People’s Choice competition featuring historical American Advertising Awards Best of Show winners. This showcase invites our past honorees to re-exhibit their most brilliant, award-winning work—and let it shine once more before an audience of industry peers.

Eligibility Requirements

• Entries must be past American Advertising Awards “Best of Show” winners (Best of Category winners or Special Judges Awards are not eligible)
• The winning organization or agency must be in attendance at the 2026 Awards Gala
• Participants with multiple Best of Show wins may enter only one campaign or project

What to Expect

Selected participants will receive:

• A dedicated table to showcase their work at the 2026 Awards Gala
• A provided voting box for People’s Choice ballots
• Prime exposure as every gala guest casts their vote for the Best of the Best

Each guest will receive one complimentary voting ticket, with additional votes available for purchase at $10 each. The Best of the Best People’s Choice winner will be revealed during the dazzling finale of the evening.

Setup Note: Exhibitors should arrive 30 minutes prior to cocktail hour to prepare their display.
