IMCI Overview It’s My Community Initiative (IMCI) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization in Oklahoma City with a mission of developing and expanding efforts to strengthen communities by building strong, healthy families. IMCI spearheads community projects, tackling issues of health, education, and employment. IMCI’s programs serve a number of special population groups, including the historically unemployed or underemployed, low-income fathers, at risk youth, individuals with a criminal background including those reentering communities from incarceration, incumbent workers, and low-skilled or low-wage workers. Over the years, IMCI has developed a reputation for and continues to demonstrate the value and efficacy of well-thought approaches to incorporating soft skills, family engagement strategies, vocational training, continuing education, job placement, and career advancement in ways that make obtaining employment with a living wage more accessible. IMCI also operates TRUE Dads. This is a free program in Oklahoma City that helps dads be the kind of father they want to be. Additionally, IMCI continuously looks for opportunities to innovate within the workforce development field and, where appropriate, develops and fosters social enterprises that include employment opportunities for the populations served and whose financial success can be reinvested in the services and resources needed to build the Work Ready Oklahoma model. Position Summary This position will provide a wide range of support for program participants and staff while also safely collecting, protecting, and inputting important program and participation data. Essential Job Functions
  • Prioritize the comfort, safety, and anonymity of participants and families
  • Greet all incoming visitors, aid/direct to appropriate area(s)
  • Input accurate program & participation data into various data management systems
  • Issue, track, & maintain participant payment cards/reimbursements via the participant payment portal
  • Schedule transportation assistance, monitor rides, and maintain communication with transportation providers
  • Issue, track, & reconcile program incentives and supports
  • Administer participant surveys, as needed
  • Provide support to Site Manager, Educators, staff, and participants during program workshop hours
  • Complete general office procedure tasks and other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
Experience
  • Prior administrative and/or data entry experience, required
  • Customer service experience, preferred
Special Requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule, required
Essential Physical Requirements
  • Sufficient mobility and strength to move about the facility. Ability to be mobile throughout the community.
