The Digital Media Coordinator is the primarily responsible for all social media channels, and digital media production. In addition, this role provides support to the overall strategy and brand awareness for BBB in support of Vice President of Marketing & Communications. The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for ensuring brand consistency in all messages and that all trademark and logo guidelines are being followed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Social Media
o   Develop Social Media Strategic Plan to support the BBB Strategic Plan and oversee implementation
o   Coordinate social media content to enhance brand awareness
o   Oversee BBB social media activities on:
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • Pinterest
  • YouTube
o   Schedule, film and edit Accredited Business testimonial videos
o   Film and edit videos of all BBB events to include Trust Talks, Big Blue Bash, Shred Events, Torch Awards and Spark Awards
o   Create a database of stock photography utilizing local Accredited Businesses
Other duties as determined by the Vice President of Marketing & Communications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Familiarity with utilizing social media outlets for business
  • Knowledge of Canva and Sprout Social is a plus
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or other relevant field
  • Three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
