Position Summary

Do you understand the value of data and how to transform it into insights that fuel the digital presence of clients? As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you’ll be a team player that gets excited about conversion rates, pixels, and lead generation tactics. You can plan on conducting research, formulating strategies, meeting with clients, and presenting results. This role requires curiosity, attention to detail, and empathy to craft digital marketing strategies and plans that reach a diverse range of audiences.

Essential Job Functions

  • Writes paid and organic strategies, schedules content, and reports on performance for digital initiatives
  • Collaborates with a team of strategists, project managers, copywriters, graphic designers and producers to reach target audiences online
  • Leads the social and digital community management for more than a dozen accounts across Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, and Youtube
  • Works with project managers to ensure the team is aligned to client and technical requirements as well as executes projects to be high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective
  • Builds strong rapport with a portfolio of internal and external clients to understand their goals and position yourself as a true partner and advisor
  • Stays current on emerging trends and opportunities within the digital landscape that could advance our client’s digital reputation and lead generation opportunities
  • Manages client expectations, communicates issues before they become problems, offers potential solutions, and advises on any potential delivery delays
  • Explores emerging tools and technologies to help our clients reach goals and our team work smarter
  • Proactively keeps abreast of assigned clients' marketing and media plans, and provides technological solutions including site optimization, targeting ideas, integrations, or social platforms
  • Develops a total understanding of online target audience and mindset modes through primary and secondary research

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree, required
  • Applicable degrees include journalism, public relations, mass communications, marketing, or related field

Experience

  • 3 years of experience working in a digital, marketing, or advertising capacity, required

Special Requirements

  • Experience managing content in Meta Ads Manager, Sprout Social, Google Ads bonus
  • Superior communication skills, both internal and client-facing
  • Desire to collaborate with a fun, curious team
  • Strong relationship management, organizational and project management skills
  • Passion for working on projects that impact the social good and provide services for individuals and families
